Girls Tryout Information

​Simley High School Girls Soccer Tryouts (updated 07/12/2017)

• The tryout process begins Monday, August 14th and concludes Friday, August 18th.
• Tryouts are open to all incoming 8th through 12th graders.  All players must be registered for soccer before tryouts begin. 
• The girls soccer program has three teams to fill: C-squad, JV and Varsity each with a limited number of roster spots.
  • To be considered for a place on a Simley team, players must attend the entire tryout process from Monday through Friday and the scrimmages on Saturday (if selected). 
• Saturday Scrimmage Information:
  • The coaching staff will select the top 22 players (including goalkeepers) to participate in scrimmages at Hastings High School on Saturday, August 19th (time & location TBD).
  • A Simley t-shirt will be provided and players must wear black shorts, black socks and bring a white t-shirt. 
• On Monday, August 21st, all players who participated in tryouts should report for practice.  Team formations will be announced prior to the start of practice.
• Once tryouts are completed, any 8th grade player that has been selected for one of the high school teams will be notified via email. 
  • Any 8th grade players not selected for a high school team can then participate in the middle school soccer program.
